Tasting Notes
The 2021 Tempt Me Tempranillo is bright purple hues and red in color, exposing a fruity nose with notes of strawberries and cherry as well as a savouriness and toastiness unique to Tempranillo. On the palate the spices from the oak come through, well integrated with notes of brambleberry, wild cherry and quince. The firm yet velvety tannins lead to a soft finish showing a touch of licorice and spice.


Winemaker Notes
Tempranillo is the first red to be picked. It is allowed to ferment on skins for 10 days to extract great flavors and color prior to basket pressing and ageing in French Oak. Longer ageing on lees and allowing the wine to breathe, classic techniques used during maturation, were used to lift the aromatics and lengthen the palate.
